Privacy, in plain words.

The short version

No cookies. No tracking pixels. Visits are counted without identifying you. Your calculator numbers never leave your browser. I only keep what you choose to send me, I use it to help you, and I never sell it.

The calculator

The calculator runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you type are never sent anywhere or stored. Close the page and they're gone.

The quick read

If you ask for the booklet, I keep your email address so I can send it to you. I may also send the occasional note, like when the book is ready. The email service I use stores your address to deliver those emails. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask me to remove you at any time. I don't sell or share your address.

The Ask AI page

Answers on the Ask AI page are written by an AI assistant (Claude, made by Anthropic), using my booklet, talks and notes. When you ask a question, it's sent to Anthropic to write the answer. Anthropic handles it under its commercial terms and privacy policy.

I also save the questions and answers in a private spreadsheet so I can see what owners are asking and make the answers better. I don't save your name, email address or IP address with them. Please don't type anything confidential.

When you email me

If you email me, I keep your message and address so I can reply and follow up. My email runs on Google Workspace.

Running the site

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, its servers briefly record technical details such as IP addresses to keep the site running and secure. The fonts and the video are served from this site, not from Google or YouTube.

I count visits with Vercel Web Analytics so I can see which pages are useful. It uses no cookies, doesn't follow you to other sites, and doesn't identify you. I only see totals, like how many people visited a page.

Your choices

You can ask me what I have about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email jim@profitclimber.com and I'll take care of it.
